JA Workforce Coaching

Young adults earn a badge upon completion of one-on-one career development coaching sessions, including 12 hours of coaching and at least 24 additional hours of independent work. During the program, participants learn about Career Options, Time Management, Work Values, Goal-Setting, Decision Making, Research Techniques, Communication, Online Presence, Interviewing, Financial Basics, Resilience, and Career Planning. At the end of the coaching program, they are expected to have successfully applied for employment or an educational program, and to have simultaneously completed the JA Career-Ready credential (approximately 10 hours).
